What is this thing called Animation?
Animation is a method in which pictures are manipulated to appear as moving images, in traditional animation images are drawn or painted by hand or transparent celluloid sheets to be photographed and exhibited on film .If you asked me that question a couple of weeks ago I would have simply answered by saying cartoons and would have underestimated the work and the resources that go into making a scene.
It's been a couple of weeks and my view of animators and animation has changed ,so far the experience has been exiting and intimidating at the same time .I have not just been learning how to animate but I've also been learning about the history of art .This has made me see a different side of of human nature ,cause I've noticed that we are all different but the same irrespective of your culture or race.
Our forefathers had different elements that could create a moving picture .All the cultures or tribes had different elements ,all had the component of drawing and telling stories but not all had the element of telling stories through pictures ,not all had the element of having a villain and a hero and not all had the element of sound and these are all proper components that can create a moving picture.
It took time to create the first film so it took even more time to create the first animation, but when it was created it was in black and white and had no sound.Later sound and colour was added ,me I'm still learning the principals or simply put the basics that will help me have a proper foundation.
