A good night sleep
Humans need rest and so after a long days work we get home prepare for bed and wait until we get drowsy and we go to sleep and wake up the next day feeling fresh or still tired ,that depends on where you slept ,how you slept and how many hours you slept.This will determine how you feel the next morning . Scientist say a person must get 8 hours of sleep so that their healthy and they can wake up and feel fresh.
But there is new research that says other wise to the myth of an 8 hour sleep.New research has shown that people back before the 17th century slept in 2 parts they slept after dusk woke a few hours later for about 2 hours and went back to sleep for the rest of the night ,this is suggested to be healthier to the human body and people should not be scared by waking up in the middle of the night.
New research reveals that people might be directly or indirectly affected by the myth of sleeping 8 hours and the commonality of artificial light.One of the sicknesses is insomnia and all of these sicknesses began in 19th century when people started to adjust to the 8 hour sleep.This was caused by people being time conscious but what really sped up the process was the industrial revolution.
To reach dreamland from being drowsy one needs to go through a couple of stages .The are 4 stages the first is drowsiness ,second is deeper sleep, third is deep sleep ,then we go back to deeper sleep and finally we we enter dream sleep.Dream sleep is also known as REM(rapid eye movement)sleep it's a state of being paralyzed because the body is inactive and the mind is dreaming.
So people should be sleeping in segments to be healthier and not suffer from sleeping disorders ,so don't panic when you wake up during the night it's how the body should work and that's how people used to do it.
